WHO won the St Kilda-Fremantle clash in Launceston on Sunday?

Football fans and players are still in the dark after the AFL, in an unprecedented move, said the result of the match would be determined at a meeting in a Melbourne boardroom tomorrow, three days after the game nominally ended.

AFL operations manager Adrian Anderson yesterday announced that the AFL Commission would decide the result of the controversial drawn match tomorrow, after receiving the findings from its investigating officer and submissions from both clubs. The result of the match will be in limbo until then.

"This is all about making sure we get the correct decision and the AFL Commission is the correct body to determine that," Anderson said.

Anderson said all three field umpires officiating at Sunday's match told investigators they did not hear the siren when it initially sounded. He said the timekeeper had made an error by not holding down the siren until the umpires heard it.
