HAWTHORN IN LAUNNIE

For more than two decades, Hawthorn Football Club and Launceston have shared a unique partnership, one that has helped shape the city’s sporting identity.
The Hawks have become part of Launceston’s story, bringing elite football to Northern Tasmania and inspiring generations of local fans. In return, Launceston has provided the Hawks with a passionate and loyal home away from home. Together, the partnership has created a lasting legacy that extends well beyond the field.

This year marks 25 years of Hawthorn in Launceston, a milestone that reflects a deep and enduring partnership.

It’s a chance to look back on the moments, memories, and connections that have brought club and community together. Across those years, the connection has come to represent something deeper than football alone.
