Wild Artistic Photography Tours and Workshops offers immersive photography experiences that showcase the spectacular landscapes, wildlife and natural beauty of Tasmania while helping photographers of all skill levels develop their creative vision.

Led by Tasmanian landscape photographer Rick Budai, the small-group workshops and tours go beyond camera settings to teach participants how to see light, composition and storytelling in the landscape. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or refining advanced skills, you'll receive personalised guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment while experiencing Tasmania's spectacular scenery and wildlife.

Experiences include Tasmanian photography tours, waterfall photography, wildlife photography and encounters, long exposure techniques, landscape photography, coastal seascapes and seasonal workshops held in some of Tasmania's most photogenic locations. Group sizes are intentionally kept small, ensuring every participant receives individual coaching and ample time in the field.

Wild Artistic is passionate about responsible nature photography, encouraging participants to slow down, connect with the environment and photograph Tasmania with respect for its unique ecosystems and wildlife.

Based in Northern Tasmania, they welcome locals and visitors alike to discover iconic destinations and hidden gems while creating images they'll be proud to take home. You'll leave with new skills, renewed inspiration and a deeper appreciation for Tasmania's extraordinary landscapes.

We acknowledge Tasmanian Aboriginal People as traditional custodians of this land, we pay respect to Elders past and present, as they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hope for generations to come. We recognise and value Aboriginal histories, knowledge and lived experiences and commit to being culturally inclusive and respectful in our working relationships with Aboriginal People.
