Tasmanian Fibre Festival | Albert Hall

The Handweavers, Spinners and Dyers Guild of Tasmania presents the Tasmania Fibre Festival

Tasmania's premier celebration of fibre arts: a three-day weekend of workshops, masterclasses, makers, displays and wearable art.

The Tasmanian Fibre Festival is a celebration of creativity, connection and the many ways we can work with fibre. Held at Launceston's Albert Hall from 9–11 July 2027, the festival brings together makers, artists and fibre enthusiasts for three days of workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, talks, performances and hands-on activities. Whether you're an experienced maker or simply curious to have a go, come and discover the joy of making with your hands, meet fellow creatives and experience the wellbeing of fibre arts.

For information regarding workshops and other events during the festival, visit the Tasmanian Fibre Festival website.
